The Little Zoo series was created to capture the whimsical, quirky and imaginative personality of toy animals. The composition of each photograph was devised to cause the viewer to question whether the image depicts a real animal or a miniature replica. Each photograph was made using a Polaroid SX-70 camera, to mimic the toy-like quality and instant gratification that these animals evoke.

Elizabeth lives in Portland, OR amongst her cameras and plastic animal collections. Although she has studied photography for 10 years, it was only until recently that she discovered the beauty in Polaroid film. On non-rainy days you can find her wandering around the city with a couple of cameras in her bag.
