Payment Methods:

The Shiny Squirrel only accepts payments made through Paypal either by bank transfer or credit card. (You do not need an account to pay with Paypal)

Sales Tax is charged for all New York State Customers.

Shipping:

Orders are shipped USPS with the option for Delivery confirmation and insurance.

USPS Insurance is required on all Domestic Goods over 100 Dollars. The insurance fees have been added into the base shipping fees stated on your invoice. The Shipping and Handling charges vary depending on the items; weight and value.

This insurance fee provides coverage for lost goods. Please see the USPS website for claim information regarding missing or damaged packages. Insurance does not cover orders delivered to incorrect addresses so please provide the most accurate information when purchasing your items.

The Shiny Squirrel is not held accountable for any item damaged during the shipping process. We faithfully trust the USPS to deliver your goods on time and in great condition. It is the carriers' responsibility once the package is mailed. If the package gets lost or damaged in the mail the customer must file a claim with the USPS to receive a refund or replacement.

All Items will be shipped with an INVOICE which has the PRODUCT ID TAG. These documents outline your purchase and product information.

International Orders:

These orders will be shipped on a case by case basis depending on the taxes/ duties and shipping costs of the customers' origin. It would be wise to e-mail The Shiny Squirrel before making your purchase to discuss possible options. The customer is responsible for any additional fees that might arise such as taxes/ duties due to international customs.

All International orders will be shipped Global Express with option for Tracking and Insurance, this is the best possible method for getting your order safely and securely. The Shiny Squirrel is not responsible for any goods lost or damaged while enroot to their international destination.

It is the carriers' responsibility once the package is mailed. If the package gets lost or damaged in the mail the customer must file a claim with the USPS to receive a refund or replacement.

Please do not place an order with The Shiny Squirrel if you do not agree to all the rules stated above. We will not refund money or replace any product for issues that might arise after they leave our warehouse.

Order Delivery:

Orders generally ship in 4 to 10 days from the time they begin processing. Please factor in the carriers' transit time when figuring out when your order may arrive.

If you desire a different shipping method please notify The Shiny Squirrel when the order is placed. Unless specified clearly at the time of purchase, all orders will be shipped First Class USPS mail.

If this is a gift or items are being mailed to one or more addresses other then the billing address, please notify us when placing your order.

International Orders might require a few extra days for processing and delivery.

A shipping confirmation e-mail will be sent once the order has left the warehouse stating those items invoiced as well as a tracking number.

If your package is not delivered within 14 days after you have received your shipping confirmation e-mail, please e-mail warehouse@theshinysquirrel.com. Please include an invoice number and P.I.C. #.

Out of Stock Items:

If you have purchased an item that is Out of Stock you will be notified The Shiny Squirrel within 24 hours of the status of your item.

Refunds/ Exchanges:

ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

We try our best at The Shiny Squirrel to provide the most accurate information and pictures of our products. If you have any questions regarding these items please e-mail us before placing your order.

The customer MUST e-mail The Shiny Squirrel within 48 hours of receiving their order to rectify any problems that we deem reasonable. There will be no refunds or exchanges if the customer contacts after this time period.

Shipping Fees are not nonrefundable. There will be no unauthorized returns to The Shiny Squirrel and these will be refused if received to the warehouse. The Shiny Squirrel MUST approve all returns by e-mail before the customer is allowed to send the item back

Cancellation Policy:

Once an order has been placed, it can only be canceled WITH A GOOD REASON within the first 12 hours from the time it has been placed. There is no exception.

All refund/ exchanges/ cancellation order requests will be taken on a case by case basis with a 25% processing/restocking fee that will be deducted from the customers' refund.
